Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope earns three nominations at Gamescom 2021 awards


Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Nominees for the 2021 gamescom awards have already been announced, and Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is set for various gongs in a variety of categories.

With a focus on upcoming publisher titles appearing at the show, these nominees have been assembled by an international jury of “game experts, journalists and content creators.” The first set of prizes, all in the Platform categories, will be awarded during gamescom: Opening Night Live, which will air online on Wednesday, August 25 at 7pm BST / 8pm CEST.

Here are the nominees for the Platform categories:

Best ad – All announcements, reveals or premieres from gamescom partners on gamescom: Opening Night Live are eligible.

Best poster – All gamescom members who have entered the gamescom 2021 award are eligible.

The best of gamescom – All category winners from the Genre and Platform category groups are eligible for the Best of gamescom main prize.

Best trailer – All gamescom partner previews shown on gamescom: Opening Night Live are eligible.

Best Streamer – Selected streamers and partner content creators are eligible for online voting.

Gamescom “Most Wanted” Consumer Award – Nominees in all gender and platform categories are eligible in online voting.

HEART OF GAMING Award – Any and all gamescom highlights are eligible for this extraordinary award – not just games, add-ons and technologies, but also individuals, institutions, companies, concepts or terms.
