Destiny 2 Xur Location and Items, Aug 27-31

The weekly Exotic Merchant Xur is found in random locations throughout the Destiny world. On Destiny 2, it can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week, you can find Xur at tower, at Hangar, stand over the steps behind.

This week’s Xur Exotic Inventory consists of the following:

• Tractor Cannon, Vacuum Shotgun: 29 Legendary Shards
• Radar Knucklehead, Hunter Helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
• Doom Fang Pauldrons, Titan Arms: 23 Legendary Shards
• Promethium Spur, Warlock Legs: 23 Legendary Shards
• Exotic Engram: 97 Legendary Shards (you can now buy a second with an Exotic cipher)
• Exotic Cipher Lookup: Free

As of Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of ancient armor and weapons, similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. These items are usually hard to find and from past seasons. Each item (be it armor or weapon) only costs 1,000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.

This week’s Xur Legendary Inventory consists of the following:

• True Prophecy, kinetic hand cannon
• Escape velocity, kinetic submachine gun
• The last dance, bow weapon
• Main Ingredient, Bow Fusion Rifle
• Hollow words, bow fusion rifle
• Seventh Seraph Saw, Bow Machine Gun
• Fox bite, kinetic sniper rifle
• Forged Machinist’s Armor Set

Xur’s Exotic items drop to a power level similar to your character’s. Legendary items drop by 1100.

Tractor cannon

Tractor cannon it’s an exotic shotgun. Your exotic benefit, Repulsive force, causes the weapon to fire powerful pulses that push enemies away from the user, suppressing their abilities, and making them vulnerable to incoming damage. Your secondary benefit, The cientific method, causes damaging opponents to temporarily increase the weapon’s stats.

Tractor cannon It is a very powerful weapon in both PvP and PvE. You can instantly kill your Super Guardians, or help your Fireteam melt a boss. It’s also great for playing difficult content on your own, if you like it. If you don’t already have this one, this is the perfect opportunity to purchase it.

Knucklehead Radar

Knucklehead Radar It is a powerful PvP Hunter helmet. Your exotic benefit, Improved sensor package, it will provide you with constant radar, even when pointing downwards. This is a great helmet in PvP or Trials, where your radar is extremely important. However, MIDA Multi-Tool and Ace of Spades have a similar advantage, which could make the helmet redundant depending on the load you are using. For that reason, it is not as powerful as something like Foetracer. If you don’t have this helmet yet, pick it up and save it for PvP emergencies.

Fang of Doom Pauldrons

Fang of Doom Pauldrons it’s great if you like the Sentinel Titan. Your exotic benefit, Horns of doom, causes shield hit kills to quickly recharge your shield throw while using your Super. Additionally, melee skill kills give you additional Super energy, and shield toss kills extend the duration of your Super. If you are a regular Sentinel user, this is a must.

Promethian Spur

Promethian Spur he is a relatively new exotic sorcerer compared to this group of OG Destiny 2 Exotic Your unique benefit, Embers of light, causes Daybreak kills to generate heals and strengthen rifts on the ground. This exotic has a really cool edge, but it’s not particularly useful in most cases. You may save a teammate’s life this way, but he’s a situational exotic wizard at best.

Exotic Cipher Search

Starting at Beyond the light, Xur has a new search for an exotic cipher. Exotic Cipher allows you to purchase Old Exotics from the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk in the Tower. You will need these items and some other coins to collect exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur wants you to complete 21 Strikes or win Crucible or Gambit matches. Upon completion of the mission, you will get an Exotic Cipher to use however you like.
