[ad_1]

Greetings sharks! For the past year, the Tripwire team and I have been hard at work on this crazy DLC idea and I’m very excited to bring this to gamers around the world.

Maneater: Truth Quest follow Man eaterthe narrator, Trip Westhaven, as he descends into madness after discovering a secret military base off the coast of Port Clovis. It’s up to you, the titular shark, to help Trip get to the bottom of what’s really going on behind the scenes. Is this a real government conspiracy? Has Trip lost his marbles? You will have to play to find out.

In terms of gameplay, we’ve created tons of new ways to eat, explore, and evolve in the game that approach the original mechanics in new and interesting ways. In my opinion, they are totally mandible-Some.

Without further ado, here are five fabulous new features on Maneater: Truth Quest!

The prologue

Even if you haven’t purchased the DLC, there is still content on the way! If you start Man eater Today, you will notice a short introductory episode in your quest log, which helps set the stage for the events of Truth Quest.

Atomic evolution

Featured heavily in the key art of Truth Quest, this new Hammerhead-inspired evolution takes an otherworldly punch and adds all sorts of new abilities to the lead shark. Including a radioactive blast emerging from the shark’s mouth! Dr. Evil would be very proud.

Plover island

A military island steeped in mystery, Plover Island is the object of Trip Westhaven’s obsession. Is there really evidence of aliens here? Is wildlife being manipulated? Did we really land on the moon in ’69? Or is Trip just floating on the water?

Hidden objectives

Scattered around the new Plover Island military complex and the original Port Clovis are the “Adventurers”; or fans of the Trip Westhaven video series. If you are observant enough to find them, they will bring you great rewards. Just remember, aluminum foil, that’s it.

New types of objectives

Ready to put your Maneater proficiency to the test? The “miscommunication” and the “time trial” have been designed to do just that! We’ve designed these two new objectives to truly challenge your maneuverability both in and out of combat.

I am super proud to say that Maneater: Truth Quest now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | Yes! If you’d like to connect with me or someone on the team here on Tripwire, be sure to follow us on Twitter, head over to Tripwire forums, or join the Maneater’s Discord Server. Happy searching!
