Along with all the announcements from the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom has now launched Monster hunter rise Version 3.4.1.
As usual there are additions and changes along with many bug fixes. You can see everything below, courtesy of Capcom’s Monster hunter rise Blog:
Patch: Ver.3.4.1
- To use DLC and play online, you need to update Monster Hunter Rise to the latest version.
- – You can check which version you are in at the bottom right of the title screen.
- – Online play requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
- If you don’t have internet access, you can play local multiplayer, as long as all players are using the same version of the software.
- – Visit the Nintendo support page for more information.

Bug fixes / Miscellaneous
Monsters
- Fixed a bug that would occasionally cause Apex Diablos to behave unnaturally when attacking by waving its horns multiple times in a row.
- Fixed a bug that caused monsters to go into a “drawn” state when the player used a Wailnard on them while they slept.
- Fixed a bug that prevented Narwa’s Thunder Rings from disappearing if his health fell below a certain point while the rings were spawning.
- Fixed a bug that caused Teostra to be knocked down bypassing a falling animation if the player used a flash bomb while Teostra was breathing fire in the air.
- Fixed a bug that occasionally caused some monsters to face in the completely opposite direction when attempting to turn towards the player.
Player
- Fixed a bug that caused a discrepancy between the player’s equipped weapon type and their team information, if the player changes their weapon type just before the return time expires after finishing a mission.
- Fixed a bug that caused the tired run animation to be canceled if the player uses or collects an item during this animation.
- Fixed a bug that caused the player to slip after landing, if they canceled the demon mode of the double swords in midair, or if they landed on a slope after charging the hammer in midair.
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash if the player joins a Rampage mission in progress with a specified time.
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer that would occasionally cause a monster’s mount state to be shortened depending on the type of attack it was hit with just before entering that state.
- Fixed a bug that caused some hairstyles to snag on the player character’s face while moving.
- Fixed a bug that caused the “Bob with Headband” hairstyle to clip through certain types of headgear.
- Fixed a bug that caused punching sound effects to play when landing blows with the Piercing Link from Dual Blades while wearing the “Akuma” Layered Armor.
- Fixed a bug that caused a difference in the facial expression of the player character when using the “Shadow Box” gesture, depending on whether they are in the village or in the Training Area / on a mission.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the player from casting a second kunai smoothly when using the radial menu to cast kunai.
- Fixed a bug that caused the great sword’s Rage Slash power boost to carry over to other attacks if the player was damaged while performing the action.
- Fixed a bug that caused an incorrect transition time when combining from the Right Roundslash of Dual Swords in Wild Demon Mode, or the Rising Slash in Demon Mode to the Shrouded Vault.
- Fixed a bug when attempting to exit demon mode after performing double swords cloaked vault in demon mode.
- For the Twin Vine of the Spear, the Piercing Bind of the Two Blades and the Earthshaker of the Horn, a bug has been fixed that caused the silk from these Silkbind attacks to disappear from the screen indefinitely if the player and the silk came off temporarily from the camera while moving.
- Fixed a bug that caused the hammer impact crater attack animation to be canceled if the player fell off a ledge right after landing on the ground.
- Fixed a bug that caused the switch ax’s zero-sum discharge finisher to end before all hits were recorded if the attack coincides with a hit parry (the time when the player character briefly freezes upon landing a hit).
- Fixed a bug that caused the Charge Blade’s Amplified Element Discharge (or Super) to be canceled after performing the Ax Jump, if the player falls off a ledge right after landing on the ground.
- Fixed a bug in the time period during which the player can combine from the Charge Blade forward Dodge (in Sword mode) on Charge.
- If the player launched a Kinsect at a monster that was moving away from the player, the Kinsect would stop at the monster’s position the moment the Kinsect was launched. This has been fixed.
Diverse
- Fixed a bug that occasionally caused another player’s voice to play when sending an Auto Shoutout to all Lobby members in multiplayer.
- Fixed various text errors.
- Various other bug fixes have been made.
