Back 4 Blood Is the new Left 4 Dead-like game from the studio that made, well, the original Left 4 Dead. While it is quite similar to its 2008 predecessor, Back 4 Blood add some new and modern mechanics. And without a coordinated team, you can die on even the lowest difficulty.

Stay with your friends

Back 4 Blood It is a cooperative game, and you will have three other players with you, no matter what. Even if you play alone, you will have AI teammates. There is power in numbers Back 4 Blood, and it is important not to run too far or lag too far behind. Stay with your team.

The cards work like mini advantages that can increase your damage with certain types of weapons or offer additional health in Back 4 Blood, and you can play a new one in each safe house to give your character a bonus. When playing with other players online, you can only use cards that you have unlocked through the Supply chain (more on that in the next section), but solo players can customize solo decks.

These solo decks allow you to play with all the cards, with no need to unlock them. Make a deck that you think you’ll like around town, dive into solo mode to find the cards you can’t live without, and then prioritize the Supply Chains that those cards offer for your multiplayer games.

Finish supply chains to plan your next shopping spree

Supply chains are the way to collect new cards for your multiplayer decks. The supply chain vendor in town will give you three Supply Chain trees at a time. You will need the currency from the supply points to buy cards (and cosmetics) in each tree. To earn supply points, you must complete missions online.

Every supply chain has a theme, and you don’t need to go through one before switching to the other two. But although the back cards are expensive, it is better terminate a supply chain before jumping into a new one. Once you finish a chain, the provider will remove it and add a new option the next time you talk to them. By ending a supply chain, you will have the opportunity to change the priorities for your next spending spree.

If you need a lot of cards quickly, please buy the early cards across all three supply chains. But if you’re looking to diversify your decks with new options, finish the chain before continuing.

Spend all your copper to avoid wasting

As you run through the zombie apocalypse, you will find copper sitting on the floor or at tables. You can spend copper on safe houses to upgrade your weapons, buy items like pain relievers, or even expand your inventory.

Copper is a precious resource, but don’t be stingy with it. You don’t play any system in Fort Hope, and you will lose any copper you have when you reach the end of your current tier pool. Spend it to get the best things you can, and maybe consider buying a few items for your poorer teammates if you don’t know what else to buy.

Heal selflessly

Back 4 Blood it’s about the team. You could be the healthiest cleaner out there, but if all your friends fall, you can still be thrown from a tall building or incapacitated by a special zombie. But as same as Left 4 Dead, you can heal your allies with items in the same way that you can heal yourself. Keep your team alive and you have a better chance of success.

Play with difficulty

Back 4 Blood It can be tough, and without a group of players you’re actively talking to, you probably won’t get very far on the game’s medium difficulty, Veteran. Consider playing Recruit with random players or friends to earn more supply points and unlock more cards before jumping into higher difficulties.

If you are bored with the easy, you can always increase the difficulty for your next round. But it’s worth noting that progress is locked based on difficulty – if you get to the middle of Act 1 in Recruit, you’ll need to reset the entire act if you want to increase it to Veteran.

Always ping to help your friends

Back 4 Blood it has a pretty useful ping system. You can look at any item, or even special zombies, and ping. This will highlight everything you are looking for for your allies, drawing their attention. This is great if you are playing with random players or want to draw a friend’s attention to a weapon they might like.

If you play alone, this feature is sadly pretty useless. In our solo races, we didn’t see any AI bots pick up the items we pinged or mount any turrets.

You will kill many zombies in Back 4 Blood, but sometimes it is better to reserve it. There are some levels where zombies can invade you and your team if you’re not careful, especially when approaching the safe room. While it may be all about the team, sometimes it’s best for everyone to make sure one person walks through that door and finishes the level.
