Brewster’s Cafe Returns to Animal Crossing New Horizons Along With Older Features

Today’s Animal Crossing New Horizons direct confirmed that Brewster’s coffee shop, The Roost, will be coming to the islands in-game along with new and returning features from previous Animal Crossing games on November 5.

Nintendo hinted that The Roost would be heading to Animal Crossing New Horizons when it announced today’s direct a couple of weeks ago, and now Brewster’s return has been confirmed. Fans familiar with this bird’s cafe will recognize all that it can do at The Roost, though it does offer some fun additions.

For starters, Brewster will make you coffee while you sit at The Roost bar and your neighbors will join you from time to time. On top of that, Amiibo cards and figures can be used to invite characters to The Roost and some of them can even bring their own friends. You, online friends, residents, and Amiibo visitors can enjoy the cafe at the same time.

Another new Animal Crossing New Horizons feature announced during today’s live show was Kapp’n, a frog who owns a boat. You will be serenaded with sea shacks in the blue ocean as you are taken to “a hidden gem known only to Kapp’n.” On this hidden island, you can find mysterious flora, islands in different seasons of the year, environments during different times of the day, and more.

Fans of Animal Crossing New Leaf were probably surprised by what Harv’s photography island is turning out to be, as it’s essentially becoming the central mall for that 3DS title. His photography studio will still be around, but Harv is using his island to create a new plaza for new and returning characters to inhabit.

You can contribute Bells to help accelerate the development of Harv’s Plaza, and in no time you’ll see the likes of Cryus the furniture maker open up alongside Katrina who will reveal your fortune for the day. Other business owners who were showcased during the Direct include Harriet, who can give you new hairstyles that you can wear on your island, Tortimer, and more.

New Leaf fans will also be happy to see the return of Gyroids. While digging cracks in the ground will still bring fossils to the surface at times, players can now find gyroid fragments. Water them and let them grow overnight in Gyroids and then place them anywhere you like. Gyros are strange devices that make strange noises (sometimes in tune with the music being played) and come in many shapes and sizes.

A new feature that will make life on the island much easier is the addition of ordinances. These allow you to control when your neighbors are away from home. For example, if you choose a morning ordinance, which would be great for someone who can only play New Horizons in the morning, the residents of your island will spend their time outside and awake during the morning (rather than at another time of day).

Joining the ordinances in the “new” category of ads today is cooking. Players can now collect DIY recipes and create new ones by combining homegrown ingredients such as tomatoes, wheat, sugar cane, potatoes, carrots, and more to create delicious meals that can be displayed in kitchens, living rooms, parks, and more. reality, wherever ‘I would like.
