Ghostface, Frank the Rabbit coming to Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War

The Haunting launches tomorrow in Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War, and this year’s limited Halloween event brings with it new modes, maps, Ghostface from Screamand Frank the rabbit from Donnie Darko.

This years Haunting event It will be available from October 19 to November 2. During those weeks, players can experience the new Ghosts of Verdansk limited-time mode, which transforms the map of the Verdansk war zone into a nocturnal one. Dubbed as the spiritual successor to Zombie Royale by Activision, “this limited time mode allows you to fight both human and inhuman threats.”

In mode, you need to manage your character’s Fear level (influenced by getting shot, camping, seeing corpses or ghosts, or watching teammates fall) by playing well and staying within the Sacred Ground circle. If he doesn’t, he will “succumb to darkness” and become a Ghost of Verdansk. Ghosts, which you become upon death instead of an Operator sent to the Gulag, have no access to weapons and instead rely on Super Jump, Teleport, and Spectral Blast abilities to lead other players to the other side.

You can do this while lighting one of the many Haunting event-specific Operator skins, including Ghostface from Scream, Frank the rabbit from Donnie darko, the Necro Queen Operator skin for Portnova, the Disciple of Mayhem skin, or even the Lumens skin for Operator Maxis. These skins will be available in the store for purchase for a limited time while the Haunting event runs in-game.

Ghostface will be available for purchase starting tomorrow, while Frank the Rabbit will not be available in-game until October 24. The other three Operator skins, which will be available as part of bundles that include new weapon blueprints and more, will be available. closer to Halloween, says Activision.

About the Black Ops Cold War Next to things, the iconic Nuketown map will be remade to feature Halloween decorations like spooky lights and more. The Infected game mode returns to Black Ops Cold War multiplayer along with a Halloween-themed Prop Hunt mode and the exclusive Scream Deathmatch mode.

The Haunting event will lead directly to the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard, which will hit consoles and PC on November 5. When it launches, so will the new Pacific-themed Warzone map, which mark the end of Verdansk’s career in the real battle.
