Total War: Warhammer 3 Release Date Announced, Coming to Game Pass for PC Day One


Sega has officially announced the release date for Total War: Warhammer 3 and has also confirmed that the game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC at launch.

In a update to your website, Sega announced that Total War: Warhammer 3 will launch on February 17, 2022, and will hit Xbox Games Pass subscribers on day one.

“It’s great to finally put a release date for our epic third installment,” Creative Assembly Product Manager Rob Bartholomew said in the post. And by partnering with Xbox Game Pass, we can bring the ruinous powers of Chaos to as many players as possible. May all serve within his glorious embrace. ”

News of the game’s official release date comes after Creative Assembly told fans it would delay the game’s release from late 2021 to early 2022. As part of its earlier announcement, the studio explained that this would allow the team achieve much more. with the game before launch and avoid a situation where fans receive a rushed version of the final product.

For those who aren’t Xbox Game Pass subscribers but still want to purchase Total War: Warhammer 3, there are a number of ways to get their hands on the game. In addition to being able to book it directly from Creative assembly himself, fans will also be able to pick up a copy of Warhammer 3 in a number of third-party storefronts, including Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store.

As part of the update, Sega also confirmed that the game would launch with an early adoption bonus. The Ogre Kingdoms Race Bundle will be available to anyone who purchases the game in advance or purchases it within the first week after launch.

The pack adds the Ogre Kingdoms and their two legendary lords, Greasus Goldtooth and Skrag the Slaughterer, to the grand campaign, allowing players to “lead an army of colossal warriors and primeval monsters in search of loot, gold, and meat for their insatiable bellies. ”

While the Ogre Kingdoms Early Adoption Bonus is free when purchased from retailers, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will not automatically gain access to the pack at launch. Instead, platform subscribers hoping to get their hands on the additional content will need to purchase it separately from the Microsoft Store.

While Total War: Warhammer 3 finally makes the Ogre Kingdoms playable, they are arguably the least exciting of all the factions. The next game in the series adds Grand Cathay to the mix, an empire in Warhammer lore that has never been seen on the table, let alone in a video game.
