Back 4 Blood: Developers admit that the zombie shooter is too “tough”

Some of you have probably already had to experience it yourself: The zombie shooter Back 4 Blood (from 44,20€ at buy) is sometimes almost unfairly difficult to master at the higher levels. This applies to both solo players and co-op groups. The developers at Turtle Rock Studios have already released a patch to alleviate the problem. But the team is now aware that further adjustments are required.

During a recently held Streams the team admitted that Back 4 Blood as it stands “is a lot more difficult than intended”. The “Ridden Fix” was not enough to get the balance back on track. Therefore there will be another patch soon. “We had thought that the current fix for the specials that frequently duplicated their spawn cards would get the increased difficulty under control … we were a little hasty there. During the process we have another big trigger for that unintentionally found increased level of difficulty. We are actively working on a solution. “ However, Turtle Rock Studios has not yet revealed when exactly the corresponding patch for Back 4 Blood can be expected.

Back 4 Blood will be released on October 12, 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S (also as part of the Xbox Game Pass). You can find the 4Players test for the action game here.
