Bioshock 4: Leak could have teased the game’s story, setting and soon reveal

The fourth Bioshock offshoot could be officially unveiled soon.

It has been known for a while that a new offshoot of the Bioshock series is in the works at the newly founded Studio Cloud Chamber. However, there is not a lot of information yet, only from job descriptions it was already clear that part 4 should have an open world setting and will not lead us back to Rapture or Columbia. Now there are new rumors about an early reveal.

Bioshock isolation is set to be unveiled in 2022

This is what it’s about: A leaker now wants to know some information about the new Bioshock title. Oopsleaks shared some supposed screenshots of an internal presentation on the game on Twitter. In addition to already known information, such as that Bioshock 4 will probably be developed in Unreal Engine 5 and will play in a completely new location, he also gave a possible title and reveal period for the game price.

The new part could be called Bioshock Isolation, although the leaker himself emphasizes that it could be a provisional title and that the logo shown in the tweet is already two years old and not final. At least that wouldn’t be surprising, since the game is said to be in development for several more years.

Will it be revealed at the Game Awards 2021? The leaker also states that an announcement for the new part should take place in early 2022, where the official name will probably also be announced. In a later tweet, however, he teases that there could be information about the Game Awards in 2022. At least Bioshock 4 2019 was announced on December 9th – the Game Awards will take place at the same time this year.

A story from two cities

Another supposed screenshot also gives clues to the story of the fourth part. It depicts two cities: a city above the surface that is inhabited by a “free and affluent society” and an underground city directly below that is isolated and ruled by a dictator who is waging a “vertical war” leads. This could of course mean a war between the two cities that is being fought in the border zone between them.
