According to Leak, Pokémon legends Arceus is said to be ‘grindy’ and to resemble Let’s Go, Pikachu

According to a leak, “ grind Pokémon ” could be mandatory in order to unlock new areas.

Although Pokémon legend Arceus is due to be released in about two months, there are still many question marks. Only some time ago fans reacted angrily when it was made clear that we were not traveling to an open game world on our adventure, but were only able to move freely in individual areas. Now a leaker has revealed new details about the RPG. We’ll tell you about it.

Grindy und hardcore

It’s all about this: The new role-playing game Pokémon Legends Arceus will be released on January 28th. Some facts are already known, like that the RPG doesn’t have an open world after all, as long suspected, which annoyed fans. Instead, we will travel to individual areas on our adventure. But much is still in the dark. A leaker has now revealed a little more.

Attention: This is not official information, so you should use it with caution.

Grindy and a bit of a sequel to Let’s Go, Pikachu: Leaker Nihilego Khu reveals on Twitter in several tweets and answers to questions about Pokémon legends Arceus. The Pokémon fan describes the game as “grindy” and “hardcore” and says it feels a bit like a Let’s Go, Pikachu sequel, supplemented by action elements, but basically a catching game.

Nihilego Khu goes on to say that catching Pokémon and expanding the Pokédex is mandatory in order to unlock new regions and advance the story. Allegedly, the end of the game also has to catch the same pocket monsters several times.

Completely new elements

At the same time, the insider points out that there are also very fresh elements. So we supposedly have to use various new fighting strategies in boss fights. The RPG contains new single player features that we definitely haven’t seen in other parts of the main series. Therefore, it is a bit unfair to compare the game with other titles from the main Pokémon series.

So far, all of this information has only been rumors. At the moment it is difficult to say whether the facts are actually true. In January, when the long-awaited RPG finally hits the Switch, we’ll get certainty.

What do you think of this rumor? Do you think it’s realistic and would this concept appeal to you?
