CoD Warzone: Farewell to the Verdansk event will take place later

There are delays in Call of Duty: The new one Warzone-Map Caldera comes later and season 1 of CoD Vanguard is also postponed because that is directly related to it. The preparatory events for the integration of Vanguard in Warzone have also been delayed: The farewell to the old Verdansk map called Last Hours of Verdansk has been postponed. However, more or less secretly, it was not announced in great detail: It should actually start today.

Call of Duty Warzone: Everything shifts backwards

This is what it’s about: The first season of CoD Vanguard, the integration of Vanguard in Warzone and with it the new Pacific map in Warzone with all the trimmings has been postponed. This means that the integration and the new map will only start for everyone on December 8th and 9th, respectively. In line with this, the events shortly before that will also be postponed.

Where are the last hours? After the Secrets of the Pacific event had already suffered from technical difficulties and apparently a DDOS attack, CoD fans are already looking into the tube again today. Actually, Warzone should start today with the Last Hours of Verdansk event. But so far there is no trace of this and a shift has not been officially announced on the blogs or social media channels.

Event comes later: But on the official and openly accessible Trello board for Call of Duty there is at least an indication that the Last Hours of Verdansk event has been postponed. In any case, the date was adjusted there and the Trello card we can see that the last hours of Verdansk now only on December 6th to break into. In keeping with the fact that the new card will not be available until December 8th or 9th. Apparently this messed up and postponed the whole plan.

Activision Blizzard scandal: The Call of Duty publisher Activision Blizzard is currently at the center of various lawsuits and scandals. For months, more and more allegations have been made about sexual assault, toxic working atmosphere, discrimination, lack of transparency and unequal pay. Most recently, a report on CEO Bobby Kotick caused a big stir, as the company boss had known of allegations for years but was said to have done nothing about it. Even worse: He apparently actively covered the accused and is said to have even threatened subordinates himself.

Did you look forward to the event or did you even take extra time off for it? What do you think of the shifts?
