CoD: Warzone finally shows details of the new Pacific map – players are afraid of buildings

A new screenshot of the Pacific map for Warzone was shown on the Call of Duty Twitter account. There you can see the different areas and points of interest. However, some players fear that there will be too many buildings on the map again.

What kind of details are these? A screenshot shows the entire map, which is divided into different zones. There are 15 areas in total, including the docks, the submarine base or the village.

There are several points of interest within the areas, which are marked with orange dots. The map is also said to be in the Pacific in 1944 and thus in the setting of the Second World War.

The Twitter account also calls on the players to mark their preferred landing point and use it to plan in advance how the rounds on the new map should begin.

Players fear too many buildings and too small a map

How is the card arriving? The first reactions to the details of the new Pacific map are very different. At first glance, some users think the card is very successful. Many are particularly looking forward to the sandy beach.

But there are also concerns.

So writes the user Mrheadshot0 im reddit: “Far too many buildings, the map should be more of an open jungle map than another camp festival like in Verdansk. Looks like solo mode will be ruined again because there will always be a building to camp in no matter what the circle goes. “

He is not alone in worrying. However, the user of the C4RS200 assumes that the buildings will be significantly smaller, which could at least solve one of Verdansk’s problems. The previous screenshots that you saw of the map speak for this statement. There are houses everywhere, but very few of them are really high. The setting also suggests that there will be no equivalent to the gigantic city blocks from Verdansk.

Another concern of players is that the new map will be smaller than the old map. Although there is no evidence for this, the concern is expressed again and again.

How big the map is exactly will only be shown at release. According to an official statement, the map should be about the same size as Verdansk.

New map brings a breath of fresh air to Warzone

What will change with the new map? With the new map there are some adjustments:

• The game is switched to the technology of Vanguard. That means adapted graphics, engine and a different feel to the game.
• The map changes completely.
• Almost 40 new weapons from Vanguard come into play.
• There is a new anti-cheat system for the PC.
• New events are planned
