Today, Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, Destiny 2 will receive a new update on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and Google Stadia. The changes include preparations for the new content of the upcoming DLC ​​”30 Years of Bungie” and possibly solutions for known problems. You have to know that today: Bungie has announced an additional maintenance for Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 for Tuesday, November 30th. In the last “This Week at Bungie” blog, Bungie announced this downtime in preparation for the new content.

Maintenance on 11/30 – All times and server down

These times are important today:

  • Maintenance work on all platforms will start at 2:00 p.m. German time.
  • The servers will then be offline from 2:45 p.m. You will be kicked out of all activities and the downtime will begin.
  • Players are expected to be able to log in again around 5 p.m.
  • Maintenance work for Destiny 1 and 2 is scheduled to end at 6:00 p.m.

Important is: Even if you have downloaded the update, there may be connection problems until the end of the maintenance work around 6:00 p.m. You may have to expect queues when logging in. Also note that third-party applications and the official Companion App cannot be accessed correctly.

That changes with the update in Season 15

That’s what the hotfix brings today: The patch notes are not yet known. Bungie will probably be making preparations for the new DLC on December 7th, 2021 in the background.
