The coolest character from Arcane will be a champion in February, but not in LoL
Silco is one of the main characters in the Arcane series, but has not yet been part of League of Legends. That should change as early as February 2022. However, you will not be able to play it yourself in MOBA for the time being.
Where is Silco published? The villain from Arcane becomes the first champion in Auto Battler Teamfight Tactics that was not previously playable in LoL.
It will be released with the upcoming set 6.5, which is due to be released in February 2022. An exact release date does not yet exist.
Silco is said to have an important role in the set as the leader of his attribute, much like in the series. Riot Games announced this on the Korean website (via lol.kr). So it is quite possible that he will get “fence” as his origin and go into battle there with other champions from the region.
Otherwise, the blog post mainly writes about how much fun the developers had in designing their first own skeleton for TFT and not using a finished one made from LoL.
What is so special about Silco? Silco is one of many characters in Arcane and, alongside Vi and Jinx, probably plays the biggest role in the series. Although he uses brutal means and looks like a seedy underworld boss, you can feel a certain sympathy for him in the course of the series.
That’s because his ultimate goal is not the destruction of Piltover, but the independence of his own region, Zaun. In addition, in the course of the series he takes on a father role, for which he is even ready to discard his dreams.
Cortyn from MeinMMO even described Silco as the true main character of the series in her conclusion on the series:

What is Teamfight Tactics anyway? TFT is a turn-based strategy game in which 8 players compete against each other. Each round you get gold and can use it to buy champions to put them on the game board. Then your characters automatically fight against the characters of one of the other players.
Over time, more and more gold accumulates that you can spend on stronger champions or level-ups. The higher your level, the more figures fit on the board. However, the more gold you own, the more gold there is.
Each champion has different attributes that give bonuses if you have enough champions with the same attribute on the field. In addition, 3 of the same champions can always be combined to form a stronger one. There are also items for the champions that you can get in special PvE rounds and in the carousel.
The tactical components are therefore finding the right team combos, upgrading the champions, using the items correctly, managing gold correctly and, last but not least, placing them correctly on the field.

Are there any other characters coming from Arcane? Yes, lead champion producer Ryan Mireles revealed in reddit that the champion designers are already eagerly waiting to bring characters from Arcane into the games by Riot Games.
