CE Timmendorf celebrates victory at HSV

The CE Timmendorf won his away game at HSV on Friday (December 3rd) with 6: 2 and thus returned the favor for the 2: 3 bankruptcy on the first day of the game. Kenneth Schnabel with two assists, Colin Whitt with two goals and Christopher Röhrl with one goal and two assists were the best scorers for coach Michael “Mitch” Pohl’s team.

Furious third third

The CET wanted to make fewer mistakes against HSV and this project initially succeeded. The Beach Devils did not concede a goal in front of the 72 spectators in Hamburg-Stellingen in the first third, but did not bring the puck into the opposing mesh either. Logically, it went 0-0 into the first third break. After the restart, it took just under six minutes and the guests took the lead. Colin Whitt was there after Arthur’s apple tree was passed. Shortly before the end of the second period, however, the HSV came through Marlon Czernohous to equalize.

This lasted a little over five minutes, then things went quickly. First Jason Horst brought the CET back into the lead, but only 88 seconds later Czernohous reappeared in front of the Beach Devils goal and served Gino-Mike Blank – the 2: 2. An open exchange of blows? Nothing! Because now the Pohl troop took over the helm in an impressive manner. Christopher Röhrl, Mikkel Joehnk, Colin Whitt and Tauno Zobel met within four and a half minutes. So after 53 minutes it was 6: 2 for the CET – the preliminary decision, because HSV couldn’t come close after the Beach Devils run.

The goals

0:1 Whitt (27.), 1:1 Czernohous (40.), 1:2 Horst (46.), 2:2 Blank (48.), 2:3 Röhrl (49.), 2:4 Joehnk (51.), 2:5 Whitt (53.), 2:6 Zobel (53.)
