Ubisoft manages to keep us going with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, even though it’s a single player game. With live service elements and constantly new content, we are always drawn back into the Viking adventure. The latest community challenge, in which you can now take part, brings us a very special weapon: the sword of the Assassin Basim.

This is how you get Basim’s sword

To get Basim’s Sword, 250,000 enemies in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla must be killed with a one-handed sword by December 9th. Don’t worry, you don’t have to tackle this Herculean task alone, but as a community. Since far more difficult goals were achieved in the past, activation shouldn’t actually be a problem.

This is how you participate: To qualify for the prize, all you have to do is defeat a single opponent in Valhalla with a one-handed sword. However, you have to be connected to Ubisoft Connect.

This is Ubisoft Connect: With the Ubisoft Connect program, the publisher would like to connect its games on all platforms with one another. For example, the service offers you cross-saves between PC and console. But there are other advantages, such as the free item mentioned above. Some items are just there, for others you have to do tasks or pay so-called units, which you earn by playing titles from Ubisoft.

Go to the side of Ubisoft Connect, log in (or register) with your Ubisoft account. Then you take part in the community challenge. Should you be successful together, Basim’s sword will automatically appear in Eivor’s inventory.

More news on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla:

Valhalla will probably not be replaced for years

The fact that the community challenges are met on a regular basis shows that many of you are still playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. And Ubisoft is far from finished with the game, for which there will probably be some expansions, updates and events.

Only with the release of Assassin’s Creed Infinity Valhalla is likely to be retired, and according to experts, that could take a few more years. Infinity is supposed to be a real service game with an online focus. Even so, Ubisoft does not want to scare away the fans of the series and plans to adopt many familiar and popular elements.
