This is how good the price is: Both shops are offering the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop, which has only recently become available in the AN517-41-R2BM version, at a direct deduction of 300 euros at the checkout for only 1,699 euros instead of 1,999 euros, with free shipping.

Strong computing power: The Acer Nitro 5 has a powerful AMD processor in the form of the Ryzen 7 5800H with eight CPU cores in addition to the RTX 3080, which is more than sufficiently powerful for current games in Full HD (but with 100 watt throttling) and 16 threads.
Large display: Other features include 17.3 inch screen diagonal (approx. 44 centimeters) with a matt IPS panel in Full HD and 144 Hertz refresh rate.
Lots of memory: In addition, there is a full 32 GB of RAM and a fast PCIe SSD with a large 1 TB of storage capacity, including pre-installed Windows 10 Home. The battery should meanwhile last up to 8 hours.

In the test: Notebookcheck.com has tested an almost identical model of the Acer Nitro 5 with RTX 3080, Ryzen 7 and Co., which was rated “Good” (82 percent).
The Nitro 5 takes a place in the lower table area among the RTX 3080 notebooks. Nonetheless, Acer has put together a well-rounded package here.
