Forza Horizon 5 fans receive game compensation, these problems are well known

Forza Horizon 5 is a huge, extremely fun car playground, but of course not without its flaws.

Forza Horizon 5 is huge, has hundreds of cars and is a lot of fun. However, the Xbox Exclusive is also struggling with massive server problems that are particularly troublesome for multiplayer players. The last update fixed or alleviated some technical issues, but there are still issues and bugs. As compensation, all players received compensation in the form of in-game currency.

Forza Horizon 5: Tons of bugs are known and fixes are in the works

This is what it’s about: Forza Horizon 5 struggles with server problems. Anyone who has ever tried to drive in a convoy with a few friends, to play challenges or Horizon Arcade rounds together, will have noticed. Sometimes our team members are simply not visible at all, multiplayer events can only be started with the convoy and without other players and there is usually no NPC traffic in online rounds.

Update brings relief: The latest patch from the Forza Horizon 5 development studio addresses a number of these difficulties, but fails to completely eliminate them. If you do not play in solo mode, but online, you will still hardly encounter normal traffic. Teammates sometimes still disappear before your eyes and so on. The following elements have already been partially improved and are at the top of the list of things that are being worked on (via: Official Forza site):

  • Convoys
  • Horizon Arcade
  • The Eliminator
  • Horizon Open
  • Leaderboards
  • EventLab

Compensation for problems: Playground Games apologizes for server problems. To ease the annoying circumstances at least a little and to make up for them, all fans receive a large chunk of in-game currency. This means that anyone who logs in after the December 3rd patch will now automatically receive 1,000 Forzathon points. You can then spend them in the Forzathon shop for seasonal offers such as rare cars.

New difficulties after patch: Unfortunately, the current update not only brought improvements, but also introduced a few minor new difficulties. For example, it can now happen that you are stuck in a perpetual memory loop when buying a car, loading and saving a community tuning or design, especially on the Xbox Series S / X. But the problem should be fixed next weekend.

These problems are known: In addition to the patch notes of the previous updates for Forza Horizon 5, developer studio Playground Games also has one long list of known problems released. This mainly contains technical difficulties with the Accolade points, the achievements, cars, clubs, controllers, the convoy, EventLabs, festival playlists, saving, with the user interface, wheelspins and much more. So the chances are that the bug that annoys you the most is already known and in the works.

What’s bothering you the most about Forza Horizon 5 right now? What do you spend the Forzathon points on?
