Overview of the new map: One of the YouTubers who were already allowed to hang around on the new map is IceManIsaac (via YouTube). In a pre-lobby with no opponents, he got the chance to get a pretty comprehensive impression.

He flies over the map in one of the new planes, speeds through the area in the jeep and explores the most important places on foot. If you are looking for a good overview of the map, you will find it in his “Rundflug”. The video is in English:

IceManIsaac describes the map as “pretty dense” with comparatively few open areas. There were trees everywhere that could be used to hide. And places like the docks also offer plenty of cover options: “There is cover everywhere on the map!”.

He often emphasizes how satisfied he is with the design decisions of the developers: “It’s as if the developers played the place and then asked themselves ‘if I’m stuck here, what can save me in this area?'”. And when they didn’t have an answer, something was changed.

He also emphasizes that he is assuming very good visibility on the map. Overall, he speaks of an “absolutely breathtaking map”.

Battles and new gulag: You can find a more focused insight, for example, from the German YouTuber Fantou (via YouTube). Here you can also see how battles develop on the new map (Fantou emphasizes, however, that in the lobby there were mainly content creators who are very good at the game).

An interesting aspect: the new gulag. It turns out to be quite small and clear, you will quickly meet your opponent.

In addition, Fantou highlights new places, such as the tunnel system in the volcano that is chic from his point of view and also that there will be another bunker on the map. We’ll include his video with gameplay here:

On the subject of gameplay, he says that the places where he fought with his team usually felt “good”.

However, he found in one situation that the jungle in combination with foggy visibility and the lighting actually ensured that he couldn’t see an opponent: “I knew where they were, thanks to the minimap, but I didn’t see them. ” However, he is not yet sure whether this was more of an exceptional problem.

He also briefly illuminates the aircraft from the Vanguard Royale mode. They are entertaining and you can also see in his video how you can land kills with them. Only the landing should be approached carefully, as the planes explode very quickly.
