Pokémon GO: Spotlight hour today with electronics and candies

In Pokémon GO, the spotlight hour with Elektek starts today, December 7th. There is also a bonus on the candy you have earned. We’ll show you the time, shinys and all the information.

What kind of event is it about? Today, December 7th, 2021, there will be another spotlight hour for the trainers in Pokémon GO. An event of this kind runs once a week and focuses on a specific monster. During the event you will meet the monster almost anywhere on the map.

At today’s spotlight hour, the focus is on the first-generation electric Pokémon Elektek. We show you the most important information here.

Spotlight lesson with Elektek – Start, Bonuses and Shiny

When does it start? As you already know from the previous Tuesday event hours, the event starts at 6:00 p.m. local time. You then have an hour to use the bonus and catch as many Elektek as possible. The event will end again at 7:00 p.m. local time.

What bonuses are there? With Spotlight Hour on today, you will find Elektek spawns almost everywhere in the wilderness. If you light a smoke to do this, it will primarily attract Elektek.

There are also double sweets for sending sweets. So if you’ve always wanted to clean up your Pokémon collection, you can do it very efficiently during the spotlight hour and earn extra candy in the process.

Is the spotlight lesson worth it with Elektek?

How strong is Elektek? Elektek himself is a good Pokémon, but his further development Elevoltek is even stronger. Especially in raids you will make a good choice with Elevoltek when it comes to your electric attacker line-up. In our overview, Elevoltek is one of the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.

The lesson is really worth it for you today if you still need powerful Electric Pokémon in your collection or want to collect Elektek candies.
