PS Now in December 2021 brings the biggest gaming disaster of the year

You can get GTA 3 at no additional cost through PS Now.

The December lineup for PS Now was posted on PlayStation Blog by Sony. Starting today, you can play four new titles on your PS4 or PS5.

These are the PS Now games in December

Especially retro fans will get their money’s worth this month. If you’re into action, you can head to Liberty City in Grand Theft Auto III – Definitive Edition and wreak havoc on the streets. If fantasy is more your genre, turn-based battles and great stories are waiting for you in the Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster. With John Wick Hex and Spitlings there are also two smaller titles for in between. Here is an overview again:

The highlight (?) In December: Grand Theft Auto III – Definitive Edition

  • Genre: Action
  • Platform: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

This is what it’s about: With GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Rockstar received a lot of negative criticism. The games are buggy, don’t run well on new hardware and sometimes look pretty weird due to AI upscaling. In addition, the complete trilogy will not appear for PS Now, but only the first 3D GTA, namely GTA 3. Nevertheless, under the holey and fashionably questionable new ceiling, the popular PS2 classic is still hidden. So if you can overlook the mistakes, you will definitely be having a lot of open world fun.

November brought that to PS Now

As in this month, there were four new games for PS Now in November 2021. These were Celeste, Final Fantasy 9, Totally Reliable Delivery Service and the highlight Mafia Definitive Edition. All these games are of course still included in the service.

Maybe PS Now will no longer exist in its current form. According to a report from Bloomberg, the streaming service could soon merge with PS Plus. Then there would be several price levels, similar to Xbox Game Pass and Switch Online, depending on whether you only need the online service or also want to stream games.

Which PS Now game are you particularly looking forward to in December? And are you satisfied with the new lineup?
