MMO streamer on Twitch cries when she sees a viewer again after years

The still quite small MMO streamer ThirdArtifact breaks down in tears in the Twitch stream. The reason for this is not sad news, but the return of a long-missing viewer.

Small streamers don’t have an easy time keeping their chat and viewers entertaining. While big streamers can trust that there will always be new messages in the chat, the smaller ones celebrate every message.

ThirdArtifact is no different. With around 60 viewers at the time, the chat didn’t get too much text. When a well-known viewer by the name of Cheddar comes back into the chat after a long time, the streamer cannot hold back her emotions.

Tears of joy: why this viewer is so special

Who is the cheddar? The missing viewer has been part of the game since the very first stream of ThirdArtifact. One day, however, Cheddar disappeared without a trace. The streamer did not know the reasons for this, but according to her own statements she always asked herself whether the viewer was doing well.

When he appears again after 2 years, the streamer breaks down in tears. Their joy is clearly real and you can literally hear the stone falling from your heart hit the ground.

A TikTok shows: One of her other viewers captured the moment as a clip in which the missing cheddar appeared. Her tearful joy can be seen in the video. The chat is unfortunately hidden, so we cannot know what the ominous Cheddar answered.

That’s what ThirdArtifact says in the clip

I know it sounds totally weird, but I haven’t seen you in two years. I don’t want to attack you with this, but I haven’t seen you in two years! But I always wondered if you were okay.

After her dog perceives the heartbreaking moment, he apparently tries to comfort her. That lets them escape the emotional moment.

She apologizes for the outbreak and adds that she kept thinking about the viewer and never lost her mind.

The clip already has around 500,000 views and 242,000 likes on TikTok. The video also increased their Twitch viewership by around 20 to 30 fans.

Many love Twitch for the “very small rooms and communities”

That is why the clip is important: Videos like ThirdArtifact’s show how much individual viewers can mean to new streamers. It also shows a page on Twitch that many people appreciate: The fans are in close contact with smaller streamers in particular and have the feeling that they belong to a tight-knit community where everyone is important.
