FIFA professional with disabilities: Niklas Luginsland talks about inclusion in eSports

Inclusion and accessibility also play a role in eSports.

Today there is a Twitch live stream with FIFA pro Niklas Luginsland and Saskia Moes from Gaming Without Borders. Both talk, among other things, about diversity and inclusion in the community in general and in eSports in particular. The whole thing takes place as part of Team Fordzilla Academy # 2 and the team captain of the eSports team is also there to play FIFA 22 and Forza Horizon 5 live.

What’s the matter? Today, December 10th, the second so-called Team Fordzilla Academy will take place. This is primarily a live stream that runs from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Twitch you can see. This time, however, everything revolves around the topic of inclusion, which of course also plays an important role in eSports.

In order to be able to speak appropriately about opportunities, barriers, possibilities and inclusion in eSports, the FIFA professional Niklas Luginsland invited. The eSport professional plays FIFA at a high, competitive and professional level and has physical limitations.

Saskia Moes from Gaming without limits. This is a project that advocates more diversity and inclusion in gaming and the associated community. The two interviewees should be exactly the right people to talk about eSports careers by and for people with disabilities.

Angelo Bülow is also involved. He’s the captain of Fort’s esports team called Team Fordzilla. He will play FIFA 22 and Forza Horizon 5 with Niklas Luginsland.
