Trek to Yomi: New trailer with game scenes brings back memories of Akira Kurosawa’s films

The announcement of the action adventure Trek to Yomi, staged in atmospheric black and white, was already a few months ago. Now publisher Devolver Digital together with developer Leonard Menchari and Flying Wild Hog (Shadow Warrior series, Evil West) have released a new trailer. Game scenes from the samurai adventure are shown, which thematically and visually are strongly reminiscent of the films by old master Akira Kurosawa.

Official Product Description: “A young swordsman swore to his dying master to protect his city and the people he loves from all danger. In the face of tragedy and still bound by his duty, the lonely samurai must embark on a journey beyond life and death Face death and face yourself on his further path. ”

Trek to Yomi is scheduled to appear in spring 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One and will also be playable as part of the Game Pass.
