Since the beginning of November you can already hit the streets of Mexico in Forza Horizon 5 on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. But even now there are still problems that slow down driving pleasure. Therefore, a new patch has now been released, which among other things improves some multiplayer functions.

New patch for Forza Horizon 5 aims to improve multiplayer

Not everything has been going smoothly with Forza Horizon 5 since the release – there was a lot of trouble, especially in multiplayer. At the beginning of the month, Playground Games announced an update that should eliminate the problems. What does the patch do? The main aim of this is to solve the following six problems (via the official blog):

  • Convoys: Sometimes friends have disappeared from the groups or were kicked out of the groups at the start of events.
  • Horizon Arcade: Similar to the problem above, matchmaking does not work properly. It can happen that you come to Horizon Arcade events and there are fewer players than usual.
  • The Eliminator: Sometimes it was not possible to challenge other players.
  • Horizon Open: When looking for other players when you are in a convoy yourself, the matchmaking did not work.
  • Leaderboards: A bug could occur that incorrect lap times were included in the ranking lists. In addition, cheaters are displayed that use mods to be faster. Playground Games wants to make life harder for them by filling in gaps again and again.
  • EventLab: It can happen that all the progress while building an event was lost.

In addition, Playground Games apologized to the fans for the problems with free items. There are 1000 Forzathon points for everyone to buy cars, clothes, wheelspins and more in the shop.

More about Forza Horizon 5:

If Forza Horizon 5 can give full throttle alongside the technical problems, then the game is definitely recommended. GamePro editor Dennis Michel agrees, and in his test he counts the game to the usual top class, even if the first signs of wear and tear are making themselves felt.

Are you looking forward to the patch and have you already encountered one of the problems?
