Trevor Philips from GTA 5 isn’t exactly one of the nicest characters we come across in the video game world. Would you like to give the gangster one for every statement in some cut scenes? An NPC has taken care of this. A video that surfaced on social media shows an extremely funny glitch that makes a scene with Franklin and Trevor seem completely absurd, but also goes well with the dialogue. We’ll tell you more about it.

NPC vermöbelt Trevor

It’s all about this: Those who currently use the words “GTA” and “Glitch” in one sentence are mostly speaking of the Remastered Trilogy. While glitch compilations from the new edition are making the rounds, a particularly funny error from GTA 5 has surfaced on Reddit. Fortunately, if the video has been deleted there, you can still watch it on YouTube, because you shouldn’t miss it.

What’s going on there? The cutscene begins – as always – with Trevor snarling at Franklin’s aunt Denise and her companions and instructing them to “shut up”. Except that this time his behavior goes against the grain of an NPC. This gives the gangster a (well-deserved) punch. But it gets funnier.

It shouldn’t stop at one blow. Trevor gets beaten and kicked for pretty much every sentence he utters – while he just keeps talking to Franklin. The dialogue also fits surprisingly well with the unwanted “reinterpretation”, as it is partly about a fall of Trevor and Franklin’s reaction.

Another NPC apparently doesn’t want to miss it and comes to watch in the front yard. In the end, he can’t resist either – and blows Franklin off. Meanwhile, Trevor leaves the property and hits a completely uninvolved passerby. However, this is not a glitch, but an integral part of the scene. It is no coincidence that the video description is: “Trevor gets what he deserves.”

More from the GTA universe:

Other fans are having a lot of fun with the scene. Benson Sexon finds an apt comparison:

When the teacher tells you to ignore the bully.

EdiDizk comments on the behavior of the second NPC, who initially just watches:

Cheers for the guy in the yellow cap, bandana or whatever. He just patiently waited for the conversation to end before joining the fight. A real gentleman and scholar.

Many other Grand Theft Auto fans share their favorite moments from the video in the Youtube comments and show how well the dialogue fits the brawl.

How do you like the reinterpretation of the scene?
