Forspoken: The action adventure offers three different graphic modes on PlayStation 5

Last week, as part of the Game Awards 2021, Square Enix announced the release date of Forspoken (from 79,98€ at pre-order) for PlayStation 5 and PC. In an interview with the website Ungeek.ph the team at Luminous Productions has now revealed more details about the game, which specifically revolve around the various graphics modes that will be available on PS5.

Accordingly, three options are offered in forspoken. Among other things, a quality mode is offered that focuses on the graphics. Here the game is played in 4K at 30 FPS. In performance mode, the resolution drops to 2K, but fans can look forward to a display with 60 FPS.

According to Luminous Productions, there will also be a ray tracing mode in Forspoken, for which, however, no resolution or frame rate details have been disclosed. On the PC, players can of course adjust their settings individually again. The special functions of the DualSense controller are also used, including haptic feedback for the various forms of magic. Forspoken will be available in stores on May 24, 2022 for PlayStation 5 and PC. The console exclusivity only ends after two years.
