300,000 players are currently waiting on Steam for a new multiplayer in which corgis fight
On Steam, you can view many games before they are released and add them to your wish list. One of the games that has most fans even before it even comes out is Party Animals – a rather bizarre beating game with cute animals.
What kind of game is this? In Party Animals you play as a fluffy corgi, cute dragon or cute rabbit with other players for victory. But it’s not as peaceful as it sounds.
The game looks a lot like the party game Gang Beasts. You beat yourselves with fists, baseball bats or giant lollipops converted into clubs and try to kick your teammates out.
If you are not beating yourself up, there are traps such as opening floor hatches or burning ovens at your disposal, in which you can eliminate your fellow players. If a player gives you too many problems, team up against him and throw him out together. But remember that alliances are only temporary.
On the Party Animals Steam Page the developers promise over 100 different types of fighting. From the previous gameplay, however, only two modes emerge: classic knockout and the fight for a giant gummy bear.
Party Animals supports both online multiplayer and split screen and offers full controller support. It will be released in 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One, as well as part of Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Party Animals is already so popular: On the list of games that most players wish for, Party Animals is at number 3 (via SteamDB.info; As of December 17th). The game has over 300,000 followers.
The trailers on YouTube both have less than 25,000 views, but almost no negative reviews. So Party Animals should above all be a game for lovers, but it could also turn out to be a surprise hit like Fall Guys or Among Us.
There are only two much darker games about Party Animals on the Steam wishlists: The SoulsBorne game Elden Ring and the horror survival game Dying Light 2. The other two games in the top 3 therefore form a pretty strong contrast to the sweet party beating .
