New World: Soon you can dress up as characters from Wheel of Time – Here’s how

New World has announced a crossover with the TV series Wheel of Time, which is also owned by Amazon. Through the crossover you will be able to get new outfits, skins for your weapons and crests for your guilds. All you have to do is watch Twitch.

This crossover is about: The MMO New World from Amazon Game Studios starts its first crossover in December with the new TV series Wheel of Time.

In the course of the crossover, players can receive a total of 6 different cosmetic items. There are:

• Outfits of the characters from the series: Red Aja Cloak, Children of the Light Cloak, Egwene’s Cloak and Nynaeve’s Coat
• Weapon Skins: Tam’s Blade and Shadowspawn Blade
• The Ouroboros crest of the series, which you can use for your guilds.

This is how you get the items: As so often on Amazon, the crossover items are available as Twitch drops. To get them, you have to watch a channel that is streaming New World and has the drops active.

The longer you watch, the more drops you earn. To get all the items, you need to have watched New World content on Twitch for a total of 7 hours.

The crossover starts on December 23rd and ends on January 12th. So you have enough time to get all the items.

What is the Wheel of Time? Wheel of Ttime is originally a series of books written by the American author Robert Jordan. The story revolves around the eternal conflict between good and evil and follows the character Rand al’Thor.

He is a farmer’s son who grows up in an idyllic rural area on the Two Rivers. But he and some of his friends have to flee when they are attacked and pursued by beastmen, the Trollocs.

On November 21, Wheel of Time started as a TV series on Amazon Prime and has so far received relatively good ratings of 83% on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.5 stars on IMDb.
