Chernobylite: New free DLC with additional side missions is available

The developers of The Farm 51 and publisher All in! Games miss Chernobylite (from 26,99€ at buy another DLC in time for the holidays. The survival adventure in the Chernobyl exclusion zone is getting its second free content update with ‘Ghost Town’.

Ghost Town includes a completely new playable area: the Pripyat residential area. This new environment is full of new events and resources. Players can move around in 3D-scanned replicas of the real residential areas of Pripyat and explore new places like the “Azure Swimming Pool”. There are also other side missions, including finding supply drops and hunting monsters.

The DLC also comes with a number of bug fixes for Chernobylite, including optimizing the lighting in the power plant as well as in the port of Pripyat. The monster hunt markings have also been corrected so that it is now easier to locate the targets. An exploit that allowed infinite resources to be extracted from the recycling machine has also been fixed. You can read all other patch notes here.

Ghost Town is the second of six planned DLC packs for the first person shooter. The first expansion ‘Monster Hunt’ was released in time for Halloween this year and the other downloadable content Blue Flames, Red Trees, Green Walls and Black Smoke “should be released by the end of 2022

Chernobylite is currently available for the PC, Xbox One and PS4. Owners of the versions for Playstation 4 and Xbox One will receive a free upgrade for Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 as soon as the next-gen versions are available.
