Choose the best new MMORPG or MMO addon for 2021

The year 2021 saw a whole load of brand new MMORPGs and some big addons. Shortly before the end, we want to know from you: Which of them was your personal highlight?

This is about these MMORPGs and addons: After a prolonged drought, a whole series of new MMORPGs suddenly appeared in 2021. Spring and early summer in particular were jam-packed with beta tests, announcements, and releases.

But also towards the end of the year several new MMORPGs and add-ons appeared. Almost every player could discover something for himself, because the games came in all colors, shapes and flavors:

• Fans of Asian games could try Bless Unleashed, PSO2: New Genesis or Elyon
• Swords of Legends Online offered a wuxia setting with cool fights and chic graphics
• For players who prefer more western MMORPGs, there was New World, Crowfall and Wild Terra 2
• WoW Burning Crusade Classic caused nostalgia
• Existing MMORPGs received new addons such as FFXIV: Endwalker and ESO: Blackwood

There was really no shortage of MMORPG food in 2021. But was it good too? As it is now “tradition” with MMOs, there were difficult launches that were plagued by server problems and many a fan or interested player closed the launcher angrily at the end.
