3. Free veteran for some wishes on gacha banners

160 veterans, 1x interwoven or predetermined fate grant you a drawing for the gacha banners. The interwoven fate lets you pull on event banners, while the predetermined fate applies to the standard banner, which is always available in the game.

What can you expect as a returnees? Especially as a returnees, you can really benefit: If you haven’t logged in for more than 2 weeks, you will automatically receive several bonuses:

  • 400 primary rocks, weapon ores, mora and purple XP cards.

  • 3x double loot from spheres and the prosperity of the elements.

If you have also previously qualified for the 1,600 veterans via in-game post, you will receive a total of 2,000 veterans on your return.

You can even get fragile resin as a return bonus by logging in daily.

What can you expect as newbies? If you only start Genshin Impact now, you have a variety of areas to discover. In addition, you will receive a lot of materials and tons of gacha currency for free through quests, puzzles and challenges that long-established players have long since picked up.

5. New island (s) to explore

What can returnees expect? In patch 2.4 of Genshin Impact, a new island comes to the Inazuma area: Enkanomiya.

What can newcomers expect? 5 different areas that house over 2,000 treasure chests and numerous puzzles. The main areas from Genshin Impact are inspired by Europe (Moon City), China (Liyue) and Japan (Inazuma). Together they make up the world of Teyvat.

From patch 2.4 there are also 46 different characters who can accompany you on your adventures through Teyvat.

In Teyvat and the respective areas there are also tons of quests and challenges that you as a newcomer have to master.
