WoW: A player has 48 characters at fame level 80 – but why ?!

Not everyone likes farming fame in World of Warcraft – but one does. He has his characters at fame level 80 – all 48 of them.

World of Warcraft is currently in the middle of a rather severe content drought and many players simply have nothing to do – or at least nothing to enjoy. But some people also use the time to simply play the current content so often that one is prepared for absolutely every eventuality. in the Subreddit von WoW the user Cheatcho showed a remarkable achievement: He brought a whopping 48 characters to fame level 80.

Why so many characters? Cheatcho provides the reason for this in the thread. He just wanted to have all classes at level 60 and then a character in that class for each pact. That results in 12 classes multiplied by the 4 pacts – so 48 characters.

What’s so special about it? Some players have little fun with the fame system in WoW: Shadowlands. For many, it is a big hurdle to farm a new character for several days of fame in order to unlock the hero’s full potential at fame level 80.

Doing the whole thing on just three or four characters is an unreasonable expectation – but repeating the process on a total of 48 characters causes many incredulous reactions, such as this one:

  • “Are you doing well?”
  • “You alone carry the WoW player base.”
  • “How can you kill that which has no life?”
  • “My sympathies.”

In the subreddit, many players note that it is actually not necessary to bring each class four times to fame level 80. After all, you can now change the pact without difficulty and so simply play your own pact of choice without having to accept any penalties. But that didn’t seem to stop Cheatcho, because when asked why he “didn’t just do it 12 times”, he simply explained: “You can do it when you are 12 [Charakteren] do, but at 48 it’s just more fun. “

Was that fun at all? Many users wonder if Cheatcho had any fun with the whole thing. After all, many cannot imagine that repetition is a lot of joy.

It’s a game that most of the time people play for the fun of it. After 17 years, I’ve got bored of farming new equipment after every patch, raid and expansion. Things like this that almost no one else does, give me more fun.

Cheatcho also does a number of other activities. He has about 1,000 battle pets, more than 400 mounts, a character already on the “Island of the Exiled” at level 60 and a neutral pandaren at 60 – like the well-known double agent.

Could you imagine playing up so many characters in World of Warcraft and grinding the fame?
