Halo Infinite: At the end the Master Chief receives a mysterious message, but the cutscene has been deleted

Is Halo Infinite getting Story DLC?

A cutscene from the Halo Infinite credits that was subsequently deleted by 343 Industries has been brought back to light thanks to a dataminer. The short clip definitely prepares us for something, but it is currently unknown whether it is campaign DLC or something else. What is clear, however, is that the scene at the end of the game would have played a big role.

Here you can watch the videos yourself Gamecheat13 look at. You don’t have to be afraid of big spoilers, as the cut scene is very vague:

The deleted cut scene raises questions

The scene is not really meaningful, but afterwards a few questions arise:

Why was the cut scene canceled? 343 Industries came under a lot of pressure while developing Halo Infinite and had to ditch some content. So it could be that a DLC was planned for the campaign, which the cutscene would have hinted at. It is extremely unlikely that this is an allusion to a successor to Infinite. As the name suggests, the game should be designed for a long period of time.

Who could be behind the message? Unfortunately, there is little evidence of the origin of the message. We only know that it is probably a friend. However, the Halo Universe is large and the possibilities are manifold. Some fans hope for a return of the rulers, but since the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) is mentioned in the broadcast, that is rather unlikely. In the community, people tend to believe that it could be the Spirit of Fire colony ship.

More current news about Halo Infinite:

Is the lack of co-op mode to blame? As you may know, the co-op mode for the campaign will not come until spring / summer 2022. Fans therefore also speculate that the news could announce the chief’s partner for the co-op campaign. If so, we will unfortunately have to wait a few more months before we learn the truth.

Do you have your own theory about the deleted Halo Infinite cutscene?
