A new skin in Apex Legends is crashing the game right now

Actually, chic skins are just supposed to put you in a good mood. But a new skin in Apex Legends is causing more problems than joy.

Which skin causes trouble? The problematic skin is called “Mil-Spec” and belongs to the character Bangalore. Players noticed that crashes occur as soon as you select Bangalore with the corresponding skin in the character selection screen.

Instead of seeing the full animation of the character, you just get kicked out. A user on reddit showed what that looks like:

In the meantime it has also been confirmed that the error also affects teammates when the skin is selected.

Developers are on the fault

What the developers say: Respawn has already responded to the error on Twitter and says they are working on solving the problem as soon as possible.

At the same time, the developers also refer to an interim solution: It is possible to load back into the game after the crash and continue playing without any problems. There is currently no complete solution to the error.

Where does the skin come from? The so-called “Gridiron Store” is currently available in Apex Legends, where you can buy various cosmetics for the legend of Bangalore. This also includes the “Mil-Spec Skin”.

The cosmetics are based, among other things, on a new video called “Stories from the Outlands – Gridiron”, which tells a story about Bangalore. So it’s a skin that you buy directly and that you don’t somehow unlock through other channels. However, this is currently not an option due to the errors.

In fact, Apex Legends isn’t the only game that is struggling with skin issues right now. Even with Battle Royale competitor CoD: Warzone, a costume causes trouble. This is the level 100 skin from the current Battle Pass, which somehow leads to the invisibility of some players. You can find out everything about the error here:
