Fallout (Amazon Prime): Production of the series adaptation will start in 2022

It’s been a while since there was new information about the series adaptation of Fallout. According to a recent report by Deadline the project should soon move on to the next phase. Accordingly, the production of the series will start this year. Among other things, the shooting of the pilot episode is planned, for which director Jonathan Nolan will be responsible, who most recently worked on Westworld, among other things.

Details about the history of the Fallout series or the actors involved are not yet available. Geneva Robertson-Dworet (author of, among others, Captain Marvel and Tomb Raider) and Graham Wagner (Portlandia, Silicon Valley) were confirmed as showrunners. Since the series was announced in 2020, it has also been known that Bethesda will be executive producer with Todd Howard. Fallout will be exclusive to Prime Video. However, a start date has not been set.
