Which Far Cry is the longest offshoot of the series and which is the shortest?

It’s always exciting to see how the game lengths of individual offshoots of a series change. The Assassin’s Creed series gets – with a few outliers – a little longer with each part. But what about Far Cry, the other big Ubisoft brand? We have put all the main offshoots of the shooter series into a playtime ranking.

Notice: The information on the playing time is based on the data on the site howlongtobeat.comwhere players can submit their playing times. An average value is then calculated from this in turn. The specified playing time only refers to the main stories. Extras and side tasks are not taken into account.

What stands out: Unlike in Assassin’s Creed, we don’t see any increase in average playing times with each new part. In fact, the series offshoots are in a similar framework when it comes to the length of the main story.

The playing time that we need when we complete all the side quests (side quests, collectibles, etc.) remains constant across the series. The only exception is the first Far Cry offshoot, which offered little pastime apart from the main story.
