WhatsApp: this will be the new design of the chat list
WhatsApp prepares some changes in the interface of its chat list, and also in the notifications.
WhatsApp is working on numerous design changes that will soon be coming to the app. We have already seen the new notifications with profile images or the new call interface that they are preparing, and now we have information about an improvement in the view of the chat list of the app.
According unveils WABetaInfo, a medium specialized in analyzing WhatsApp betas in search of information, WhatsApp wants to improve the interface of its chat list with a clearer design. And to do so, the app has decided remove from the upper area the links to “Broadcast lists” and “Create group”. These options will appear when we decide to start a new chat.

WhatsApp is planning to make the chat list cleaner and for this they need to remove certain elements from the user interface. In particular, they are planning to remove the row where you can open broadcast lists and create new groups.

And this is not the only novelty that WABetaInfo has discovered lately. Too have reported of a new notification when someone mentions you in one of your groups. As you well know, you can reply to a specific message or mention a user by placing an “@” before their name, and until now the notifications for this were identical.
However, in WhatsApp beta 22.1.71, we have new notifications that differentiate if they have responded to you or if they have mentioned you within a chat.
