Realme 9i: the new Realme mid-range arrives with the Snapdragon 680 and a huge battery
Realme begins 2022 with the launch of a new smartphone mid-range, the Realme 9i. As its name suggests, this device tends to succeed the really 8i, launched late last year and as such is betting on modest, yet competent specs.
The Realme 9i has been launched in Vietnam and, at the moment, there is no news about his possible arrival in Spain. In the case of doing so, we will update this text with the pertinent information. As far as the Vietnamese market is concerned, the terminal can be obtained in a single version, two colors and a price of approximately 253 euros to change.

90 Hz y Snapdragon 680
The Realme 9i bets on a simple but colorful rear. The device available in blue and black, in both cases with a finish based on vertical stripes. The back is completely smooth, saving the module for the cameras that we find in the upper left corner and that, from the images, seems to stand out slightly.
The fingerprint reader has been incorporated into the right frame, something that terminals with LCD panels are used to. Because yes, the Realme 9i incorporates a 6.6-inch LCD panel with FullHD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate (a reduction from the Realme 8i, which was 120 Hz). The screen, of course, is perforated in one of the corners to house the internal camera.
If we open the hood we will see a Snapdragon 680 processor (whose GPU is the Adreno 610) and 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The trick is that Realme uses RAM virtual to add five gigas additional, so the figure rises up to 11 GB. As for the internal storage, 128 GB UFS 2.2 expandable up to 1 TB with microSD cards. They are not the fastest components on the market, but they are solvents.
The battery is one of the great promises of the device, since mount 5,000 mAh with 33W fast charge. Always on paper, autonomy should not be a major problem. The soul of the terminal is Android 11, which obviously comes with Realme UI 2.0, Realme’s customization layer.
Finally, it is worth talking about the camera. The Realme 9i incorporates a main camera of 50 megapixels, a two megapixel depth sensor and a two megapixel macro. It is curious, of course, that it does not incorporate a wide angle. The front camera, meanwhile, stays at 16 megapixels and we already know that it is hidden in the perforation of the screen.
Versions and price of the Realme 9i
As we indicated previously, the Realme 9i It has been announced in Vietnam and, at the moment, there is no news about its possible arrival in Spain. What we do know is that it will be available in black and blue and in a single 6/128 GB version. Its price is 6,490,000 Vietnamese dongs, which is about 253 euros to change.
