1965 Chevrolet Impala found in barn after 30 years

A 1965 Chevrolet Impala has turned up after 30 years in a barn. It was under a layer of dust and straw, but in surprisingly good condition.

Barns are usually enclosures enabled on farms to store feed or even give shelter to animals such as cows, pigs, chickens, etc. But in the United States, the land where everything is possible, there are also gems like classic cars. The surprising discovery is about a chevrolet impala, which has been buried 30 years between straw and other grasses.

It was at the time of cleaning and sanitizing the area when its discoverers had the major surprise of finding the Chevrolet 1965 Impala. Its appearance, beyond being full of dust and garbage, was quite complete and the passage of time was hardly noticeable on it. The fact of having been kept locked up and only accumulating years and weeds affected him minimally.

This historic American vehicle kept the original color hardly any scratches or loss of color. Similarly, its chrome had not suffered notable wear, which gave it an outstanding image. Only the rims were somewhat altered by rust, but without being exaggerated.

The most striking of Chevrolet could be seen inside. Upholstery was pristine, closer to looking like a new car than another locked in the gloom. It was probably not used much by its owner when it was still in use. But the fact of sleeping in a garage – in this case, a barn – saved him from wear and tear.

Its only problem is that, at the moment, it does not start. Of course, there is hope, since the engine does turn. It could work again with good care, even if it’s not a V8 engine. In this case, this model mounts a 4.1-liter six-cylinder turbo with 140 hp. On the YouTube channel of the discoverers, Adventures Made From Scratch, you can see this car in detail.
