Disgusting food in Skyrim: A foot part turns your stomach in particular

You chose the most disgusting food in Skyrim – by a wide margin.

Troll fat, mammoth cheese, chaurus eggs. These are just a few entries on the list of unsavory foods in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. While it has positive in-game effects, the thought of choking down one or more of these things makes us feel a little sick.

But which of these foods is the most disgusting? Inspired by one Discussion on Reddit we passed this question on to you. The survey has now been running for a few days and it’s time to make an initial evaluation. Because there is already a clear disgust favorite.

A toe tops the horror’s ingredient list

  1. Big toe (560 votes)
  2. Spider Eggs (288 votes)
  3. Human flesh (220 votes)
  4. Ears of Falcon (148 votes)
  5. Skeever tail (93 votes)
  6. Chauruseier (74 Abstimmungen)
  7. Troll Fat (70 votes)
  8. Mammoth Cheese (55 votes)
  9. Other food (49 votes)
  10. Bärenklauen (15 Abtimmungen)

Total votes: 1572 (Stand: 15.01.2022)

It is astonishing how far away – namely with almost twice as many votes as place 2 – the giant toe secures first place. Behind them at a short distance are the spider eggs and the human flesh, the falcon ears and the skeever tail line up behind them at a clearer distance. In any case, the survey results leave no room for doubt as to which Skyrim food the GamePro community finds the most disgusting.

The sovereign “winner” of the poll mentioned, among other things, in the comment by Valvatores:

Vollkontaktbettsportler mentions that the material for the toothpick is already included with the giant toe and Shallow wonders whether the foot part would look crisper in Unreal Engine 5. For Cogburn, on the other hand, human flesh is the most unimaginable.

Interesting: Some of you think mammoth cheese sounds “delicious” and would actually try it in real life. And Schödel has his very own favorite for the most disgusting ingredient in Skyrim:

“[…] I’d rather say: A potion that’s been sitting around in some old burial mound for hundreds of years. Seriously. You find so many potions in burial mounds that nobody put them in there just before we got in. We usually uncover the entrances for the first time in several centuries. This means that the potion must already be well past its expiry date. It is very surprising that they still work as desired.”

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your votes and comments on this tongue-in-cheek survey and are already considering which games could be worth a similar survey for.
