The price is so good: Alternate.de currently offers the MSI Alpha 15 AMD Advantage Edition (B5EEK-008) for 1,199 euros instead of 1,349 euros.
According to the price comparison, the model was not yet available for less than 1,199 euros, with shipping costs of 6.99 euros being added.

The Radeon RX 6600M installed in the MSI Alpha 15 AMD Advantage Edition delivers smooth frame rates in current games at Full HD resolution and competes with Nvidia’s mid-range model, the GeForce RTX 3060, but has 2 GB more graphics memory.
The graphics processor is supported by the equally fast AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with eight CPU cores and 16 threads, which in turn is supported by 16 GB DDR4 RAM, while a 512 GB PCIe SSD also ensures fast performance.
The 15.6-inch display works at 144 Hertz for smooth movements with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, while there is also an RGB-illuminated keyboard.
The only equipment sticking point: There is no Windows operating system pre-installed, which means that the buyer has to do this himself if no other OS is to be used.

Good reviews: Google lists an average of 4.2 out of 5 stars for the MSI Alpha 15, but this is the cross-equipped model series.
In the test: Meanwhile, Notebookcheck.com put the local model to the test and gave it a rating of 83 percent (“good”).
A great showcase for AMD’s Advantage program and the Radeon RX 6600, the MSI Alpha 15 only has to make small compromises. The Alpha 15 is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a powerful Intel/Nvidia alternative for competitive 1080p gaming.
