Fortnite: Server Down for Patch 19.10 – All important information in German

Today, January 18th, Fortnite servers are going down on all platforms (PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The downtime is used to install the new update 19.10. We at MeinMMO will summarize all changes here.

What’s happening in Fortnite today? Epic is once again shutting down the servers and is bringing a breath of fresh air with a new patch. Lots of new content is expected, including new game mechanics and new weapons and skins.

Fortnite servers go into downtime – when and for how long?

Downtime in the morning: The servers will be shut down at 10:00 AM CET to roll out update 19.10. Matchmaking is already disabled 30 minutes beforehand, so you won’t be able to play after 09:30.

When can you play again? The servers are then offline for quite a while and playing is no longer possible, the downtime is expected to be between 30 minutes and 2 hours. The updates of the past few weeks have shown that.

Of course, such work can always lead to technical problems and delays. If there are any complications, we will let you know.

When are the patch notes coming? Normally, Epic Games publishes little to no information about the update changes in Battle Royale mode. These are often found by the community itself.
