That’s the deal: Microsoft has announced that they will buy Activision Blizzard. Overall, this project should cost the tech giant almost 70 billion US dollars. Exactly what will happen to Activision Blizzard Studios under Microsoft is not yet clear. A dismissal of employees or even closure will very likely not happen or at most in individual cases. When it took over Bethesda, at least Microsoft didn’t change the basic course of Studios.
