In Pokémon GO in January 2022 you will meet the powerful raid bosses Heatran, Genesect, Regice, Mega Rexblisar and Mega Aerodactyl. We show you the dates for the boss change and the raid hours in the overview.

What is this overview? The raids change regularly on the different levels of difficulty in Pokémon GO. New raid bosses replace old ones and you can fight them. There are also new mega raids. There’s a raid hour every Wednesday that focuses on a level 5 Pokémon.

Kyurem is in raids until January 7th Kyurem-Konter:

Kyurem is vulnerable to Fighting, Rock, Steel, Dragon, and Fairy types. Possible attackers are (Crypto) Metagross, Terrakium, (Crypto) Machomei, Lucario, Mega Aerodactyl and (Crypto) Hariyama.

Heatran can be found in raids from January 7th to 15th Heatran-Konter:

In combat, Heatran is very vulnerable to Ground-type attackers. Fighting and Water-type Pokémon are also effective. In raids, rely on attackers like Garchomp, Rihornior, Landorus (also in animal spirit form), Groudon or (Crypto) Sumpex.

Genesect with Lightning Module is in Tier 5 Raids from January 15th to January 24th Genesect Counter:

Fire attackers are particularly effective against Genesect with Blitzmodul. It’s best to bet on Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y, Mega Charizard X, (Crypto) Entei, Reshiram, Mega Houndemon, or Crypto Arcane.

You can find Regice in raids from January 24th to February 1st Regice-Konter:

Fighting, Rock, Fire, and Steel types are strong when fighting Regice. We recommend attackers like Mega Charizard Y, (Crypto-)Metagross, (Crypto-)Lavados, (Crypto-)Machomei, (Crypto-)Entei or Terrakium.

Counter for Mega Raids in January Mega-Rexblisar-Counter:

Mega Rexblisar is very vulnerable to Fire attacks. But also the types fight, flight, poison, rock, beetle and steel have good chances in the fight.
