Nintendo Switch Online: Soon you will be able to play Zelda: Majora’s Mask

Another classic is coming our way.

It has been known for a long time that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask will expand the games of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service. When the N64 classic will be added, it was previously unclear. Now we have learned that the wait will soon be over.

Majora’s Mask coming to Switch soon

It’s all about this: Nintendo’s subscription service Switch Online is not only necessary to gamble online with friends, but also comes with a range of retro games. The lineup initially only consisted of titles from the NES and SNES, but SEGA and N64 games were added in October 2021 with the paid expansion pass.

Majora’s Mask is coming soon: Some titles were already there when the expansion launched, others are now being added little by little, like the charming platformer Banjo-Kazooie just recently. Next month – as revealed by Nintendo’s American Twitter account – it will be Majora’s Mask:

That would be February, but the exact date on which Majora’s Mask will be available is still missing. That will probably follow shortly.

Majora’s Mask ties in with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. We take on the role of young Link, whose ocarina is stolen by the childlike demon Horror Kid. The action takes place in Termina, the world already mentioned in the Twitter post. It’s a parallel world to Hyrule populated by many characters from Ocarina of Time, but they have different roles.

As a link, we must prevent the moon from falling on a city. Besides that, we still have to bail some characters out and face the demon at the end.
