Steam Deck: More titles marked as ‘verified’ or ‘playable’

Last week, Valve reaffirmed that the first units of the Steam Deck will ship to pre-orderers in February 2022. The team has also already started quality assurance for games from Steam behind the scenes to check their compatibility with the Steam Deck. Portal 2 was the first title to be classified as “Verified”. There is now a new list of games and their corresponding rating for the Steam Deck.

Games must meet requirements in four different categories in order to be designated as “Verified”. If the title does not meet the requirements in a category, it will be listed as “Playable”. In this case, the user can still make adjustments themselves to improve the experience on the Steam Deck. Here is the current status of the list (via SteamDB), which will certainly be massively expanded in the coming days and weeks.
