Halo Infinite in-game store credits will soon be earned through play.

The criticism of the in-game shop Halo Infinite was big to start with. The prices for the cosmetic items were too high for many players and some favorite items were hidden behind big bundles. Thus, the entire bundle had to be purchased, although perhaps only one of the items was of interest to you.

343 Industries has taken the criticism of the players to heart and has already announced far-reaching changes. But it shouldn’t stay that way in the coming weeks.

Collect your credits simply by playing

In the in-house Halo forum 343 Industries-Senior Community Manager John Junyszek aka Unyshek announced that Halo Infinite will soon have a major update. In addition to the increase in value of bundles and the reduction in price of shop items, there is another piece of positive news for players.

What will be changed? So far, the credits you can use to buy cosmetic items in the shop can only be purchased for real money. But soon it will be possible to get the credits as a reward just by playing Halo Infinite.

When will there be credits through play? The idea will only be implemented with Season 2 of the Battle Pass. As soon as the launch approaches, the development team wants to announce more details. Season 2 is scheduled to start in May, by then we will know more.

The relief about the credits that can be earned becomes clear in the comment column. For example, YandeRose writes that the upcoming changes are “excellent”. User M4Ts_Joker_R56 agrees and says the earnable credits are really needed.

Other users, on the other hand, are still not satisfied with the upcoming changes. The Big Team Battle mode is currently struggling with matchmaking and match joining issues. Even a current hotfix could not fix the problem. Therefore, many users hope that the situation will improve soon with an upcoming update.

What do you think of the planned changes? Are you satisfied with the current gaming experience in Halo Infinite?
