Impossible Premiere: The next two Mission Impossible movies are delayed again and fans lose patience

This is the fourth delay that Mission Impossible 7 suffers and that has fallen like a bucket of cold water on millions of fans of the license.

One of the most popular film licenses in recent decades is Mission Impossible, which has one of the most outstanding roles of Tom Cruise, and with a seventh and eighth installment that have already been delayed for several months due to various problems in production, majority derived from COVID-19.

Although the premiere of Mission Impossible 7 and Mission Impossible 8 had already been delayed up to three times, now both Paramount Pictures and Skydance have been forced to issue a statement collected by Hollywood Reporter, where they confirm a new delay (already the fourth) for both films.

In this way Mission Impossible 7 will be released, in principle, next July 14, 2023 while Mission Impossible 8 goes to June 28, 2024, and we’ll see if it’s definitive.

And it is that Mission Impossible 7, after other previous delays, was going to be released on September 30, 2022 being one of the most anticipated movies of the whole year, but now the great group of fans of the license and of the actor will have to continue waiting.

However, the original premiere for Mission Impossible 7 was scheduled for July 23 of last year, but was later delayed due to the pandemic.

In the statement issued by Paramount and Skydance they state that “After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the release dates for Mission Impossible 7 and 8 due to the ongoing pandemic. We look forward to providing moviegoers with an unparalleled cinematic experience.”.

Tom Cruise is resisting being able to complete the filming of Mission Impossible 7, not only due to injuries while trying to perform dangerous scenes, but also due to the large number of casualties that the cast has suffered due to COVID-19.
